Doctor Haiden is an internist in Marin County, California, focusing on the types of medical problems that often fall through the cracks with a conventional health care approach: things like inflammatory conditions, abdominal and digestive problems, nutrition and overweight, diabetes lifestyle changes, fibromyalgia and difficult to diagnose problems. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Dr. Haiden also offers natural and preventive breast cancer support; during and after conventional treatments as well as prevention. Whenever possible, problems are addressed at their root by identifying and addressing the underlying reasons. We use nutritional and preventive approaches whenever possible. We can also help with prevention and education.
Why are we different than everything you have already tried? We recognize that you are a complex person. So, we look at you in complex, scientifically supported ways that include everything from biochemistry, bacteriology, genetic predisposition and injury to psychological and environmental influences. We look at how problems that seem very separate can actually be related. This is often called an integrative or functional medicine approach. What we are really looking at is WHY you have become ill and out of balance so that we can work to correct those things. This idea works for prevention as well.We integrate medicine by using the best of conventional and non-conventional approaches. An example would be a colaboration between the health care methods you are accustomed to and new types of laboratory testing, nutrition, acupuncture, psychology coaching, stress reduction and mind-body activities such as yoga. Of course, people have different preferences and we always work together to come up with the best plan for you. Our office does not participate in any insurance networks but we do provide coded billing for you to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service.

Patient Forms
It is helpful for you to bring any previous medical results or materials with you to your appointment. Please print out and complete the new patient forms below. We can also mail these to you, if you would prefer. Do not fill them out on-line. We prefer that you mail or fax the completed forms to our office one week prior to your appointment, if at all possible.
