I got a St. Patrick's day card from my sister the other day.  She is the absolute queen of card sending. It was a little square card with a bright, happy mound of green as can be shamrocks being cupped in a child's hands. Besides conjuring up the smell of dew and fresh grass, it made me think of corned beef and cabbage. Know What’s In A Pesticide On This Earth Day

I just got back from Sacramento, the Capitol of California.  I was there to testify in favor of a bill, SB 759, to make sure that ALL of the ingredients in pesticides, including the "inert" ones, are disclosed before they are sprayed. The bill was authored by California State Senator Mark Leno and sponsored by Pesticide Watch. What a great way to spend earth day!
